(April) – Inspire residents to plant a tree an hour or memorialize a loved one.
Bennewitz, Braam & Ratterman Business Beautification Award
(monthly) Recognize businesses, churches, schools, and etc. that demonstrate a commitment to a clean and beautiful hometown.
Great American Cleanup
(March-May) Spring cleaning and recycling initiative countywide.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
(Spring & Fall) – Free disposal of automotive and marine products, home maintenance/improvement products, home lawn/garden products, electronics, pool chemicals, fluorescent bulbs, paint and etc.
Make A Difference Day
(October) Citizens working together to help clean and beautify our community. Assist the elderly or neighbors.
Public Lands Day
(September) – Volunteers clean up public parks, playgrounds and campsites.
Solid Waste Breakfast
(March) – Kick-off spring cleanups in Cleveland/Bradley County.
White Glove Award (Quarterly)
– A White Framed Glove demonstrating a commitment to environmental preservation. Eligibility for the award are students, individuals, teachers, business/industries and civic organizations.
