"The City of Cleveland is proud that Brian Moran, Assistant to the City Manager, will be the new Chairman of the Blythe Oldfield Community Association (BOCA)," said Mayor Kevin Brooks. "BOCA is an extremely important part of the revitalization of our downtown and surrounding communities. Brian will be a great addition to this growing and expanding work by City Fields and others."
BOCA aims to empower residents and identify goals for their community through various collaborative partnerships with local nonprofits, local and state government agencies, business stakeholders and others civic organizations. BOCA's goal is to assist neighborhood leaders by addressing community issues, collecting their input on all projects, helping to mobilize residents, and working with them to plan community events, physical revitalization projects, and more.
