The City of Cleveland is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Capture Cleveland Photo Contest. Sixty participants submitted pictures for the contest. The winners were announced at the December 11th Cleveland City Council Meeting.
The Capture Cleveland Photo Contest was contest was conducted from September 10, 2017 to November 10, 2017. The contest had six categories: arts/culture/community; historic downtown architecture; picture taken by a middle school student; picture taken by a high school or college student; outdoors/nature and public safety relations. 1st place winners received a $100 check and 2nd place winners received a $50 gift card. Sponsors for contest: Athens Federal Community Bank, Bank of Cleveland, Church Street Candle Company, Glassworks, Mainstreet Cleveland, The Venue Creekside, Waste Connections and White Oak Advertising and Public Relations.
The City partnered with the Cleveland Workspace and held a special gallery displaying all the pictures from the contest from December 1, 2017 to December 5, 2017. The City received over 200 entries for the contest.
