CLEVELAND, TN - The city of Cleveland has been selected to receive a $25,000 grant for the creation of a new dog park. The grant is being funded by the Boyd Foundation as a part of the foundation’s Dog Park Dash grant program to make Tennessee the most pet-friendly state in the United States.
Cleveland was one of thirty-six recipients of this year’s Dog Park Dash grant. Over fifty applications were received from communities across Tennessee.
On Saturday, July 21st at 3:30 p.m., the Boyd Foundation will have a check presentation at the future dog park site behind Blythe-Bower Elementary School located at: 298 Foster Lane, Cleveland, TN 37311. In the event of rain, the location will be moved to the Cleveland Municipal Building located at 190 Church Street NE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
