BRADLEY COUNTY VETERANS' HOME GROUNDBREAKING VIDEO
Around 600 people attended the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services grounding for the Bradley County Veterans Home. For those not able to attend, here is our highlight video of the event.
Construction of the single story, 108-bed facility will begin this fall.The new facility will consist of six eighteen (18) residential houses that will span approximately 110,000 square feet. Construction for this project is estimated to be complete by summer 2021.
“We appreciate Tennessee's veterans and we have endless gratitude for their service to our country," Governor Bill Lee stressed. "We as a state are dedicated to supporting them throughout their lives and this is just one way we can give back to those who have given so much for us.”
"This was a historic moment for our community, said Mayor Kevin Brooks. "We welcomed our special guests to Cleveland and Bradley County, and we were honored to host Gov. Bill Lee, a man who we know supports this veterans home. I am incredibly thankful that Cleveland is going to serve the veterans in our city through this home.
