The Vacant Property Review Board meets as needed in the Municipal Building.

Members 

  • Appointment – Vacant Property Review Board – Bill Martin for a 3-year term to expire July 2027.
  • Appointment – Vacant Property Review Board – Julian Martinez for a 1-year term to expire July 2025.
  • Appointment – Vacant Property Review Board – Cindy Slater for a 3-year term to expire July 2027.
  • Appointment – Vacant Property Review Board – Councilman Bill Estes for a 2- year term to expire July 2026.
  • Appointment – Vacant Property Review Board – Councilman Ken Webb for a 2- year term to expire July 2026.

Division

The Vacant Property Review Board shall consist of five members, all of whom must be residents of the city. Members shall be appointed by the chief executive officer and approved by the legislative body. Members shall be appointed by the chief executive officer and approved by the legislative body. 

Thereafter, such members shall be appointed for terms of 3 years. Or until their successors are appointed. However, any member may be removed for cause at any time by the city council. The vacant property review commission shall serve without compensation. No officer or employee of the city whose duties include enforcement of local housing, building, plumbing, fire or related codes shall be appointed to the commission, as added by ordinance of July 9, 2001.
