Board & Commission Applications
The City of Cleveland has various board, committees and commissions citizens can serve on. If you have ever wanted to help our city achieve its full potential, we would love to have your unique experience and expertise. If you want to have a voice in our City's growth, be a part of the body that is responsible for making decisions regarding policy, service, education, or help fix a problem, then we would love for you to take the first step toward putting your ability, skill, and know-how to work making our city a better place for all.
Through the board and commissions created by the Mayor and City Council, our citizens can provide an important voice on the policies and decisions that shape both the government and city. There are currently twenty-nine (29) active committees and boards that could benefit from your input as you advise the mayor and city council on important decisions.
Committee members generally serve on a volunteer basis, but there are many gratifying aspects of working on a committee. Members meet other residents with similar interests, learn about the city, and help define our vision for the future Cleveland. There is a significant personal commitment, so please do not enter into this decision lightly. However, we highly encourage any interested individual to at the very least, seriously consider serving Cleveland in this way.
Please review the City of Cleveland's Appointment Policy and Municipal Code of Ethics before applying.
