Parks and Recreation Facilities

TINSLEY PARK WILL BE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 2023 THROUGH ESTIMATED MAY 31, 2024.  

Tinsley Park has a playground and picnic pavilions.  Pavilion #1 can be rented for events such as reunions and birthday parties and is reserved in 3-hour increments (setup and cleanup must be included in your reserved time). The rental fee is $20 per each 3-hour rental. 

You can reserve Tinsley Pavilion #1 on the online calendar (check available dates below) or by contacting Karen Stovall at kstovall@clevelandtn.gov . Requests must be made at least 5 days prior to the date you wish to rent. If reservation payment is not paid by due date, your reservation will be cancelled and you will not be able to resubmit the request.
 We do not take payment over the phone.
 
 Pavilion rental fees are non-refundable.  In the event of inclement weather, you can request to use your payment as a credit toward another rental time (pending availability).
 
 Inflatables that require water are not permitted in Tinsley Park.
 
 Reserving a pavilion entitles you to the use of the pavilion.  Surrounding park areas and amenities are for public use and are not included in rental.

All decorations must be removed at the end of your rental.  Do not fasten with nails, staples, or other sharp objects that will damage walls, trees, or structures.  Confetti or glitter is not allowed in or around any shelter.  Additional fees may be assessed at renter’s expense if these products are used.
 
 *Please be prepared for possible trash/debris at pavilions upon your arrival.  Due to circumstances beyond our control, pavilions are sometimes used by non-permit holders after our maintenance crew has already cleaned in preparation for your rental.  Unfortunately, this is out of our control and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
 
 THE CITY OF CLEVELAND DOES NOT ASSUME ANY LIABILITY FOR LOSSES OR INJURIES TO THE PERSON OR ORGANIZATION.  THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY THE CITY OF CLEVELAND FROM ANY CLAIMS WHICH ARISE OUT OF THE PLANNED PROGRAM AND/OR TO PROVIDE PROOF OF PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE OR A BOND IF DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE DIRECTOR WITH RESPECT TO THE PARTICULAR PROGRAM PROPOSED.
